When was the Hubble Space Telescope invented?

In the year 1929, Edwin Hubble invented the Hubble space telescope and on 24th April 1990, it was launched by NASA into the space around the planet, Earth. The Hubble space telescope was launched to learn about the formation of galaxies, taking clear cut images without the help of background light and to determine the age of the universe.
