TNT stands for Trinitrotoluene and was invented in 1863 by Joseph Wilbrand who was a German scientist. It was initially used as a yellow die. In the year 1902, it was used by Germans for filling artillery shells. It is a chemical compound which is highly explosive and used widely by many construction companies and military. It is also more suitable as it is water resistant and does not explode accidentally.
