In 1913, the Tinkertoy setup was created in Evanson, Illinois by Charles H. Pajeau and Robert Pettit. The toy was designed by Pajeau when he saw some children playing with empty spools of thread and pencils. Tinkertoys are a set of toys used by children to assemble structures of joints, wooden dowels, wheels and much more.
