When was Pascal Programming language invented?

The Pascal Programming language was developed by Niklaus Wirth in the year 1971 and named it after Blaise Pascal who was a French philosopher and mathematician. To teach the students structured programming, Pascal was designed. The language is currently used in variations for research projects, embedded systems and designing PC games.
