The food chemist of a General Foods Corp known as William Mitchell invented Cool Whip in 1967. Cool Whip is a famous frozen topping which is used as a substitute for whipped cream. In bakery products such as tarts, cakes, pies and as toppings in hot chocolate, mousse and salads it is used.
