The aluminum foil was invented in the year 1825 by Hans Christian Oersted. Charles Martin Hall was granted patent for the aluminum foil on 2nd April 1889.Dr. Lauber, Neher and Cie., Emmishofen was the first aluminum foil rolling plant that was opened in 1910 in Kreuzlingen in Switzerland.
