When was Mascara invented?

In the nineteenth century the first mascara cosmetic product for the use of women was invented by Eugene Rimmel. In the year 1913, modern mascara was created by a chemist T.L. Williams for his sister, Mabel. It was in the cake form. Helena Rubinstein introduced the modern mascara tube and wand applicator in the year 1957.
