World Wide Web (WWW or W3), a widely used interlinked hypertext system on Internet, was successfully launched in 1991. It was a dream comes true for Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Director of the World Wide Web Consortium. It was him who invented the Word Wide Web in association with CREN, in Geneva, Switzerland.
