In December 1997, an American blogger named Jorn Barger coined the term weblog for the first time. In April or May 1999, Peter Merholz coined the short form, “blog” and humorously changed the word weblog into we blog phrase. The blog maintains an ongoing chronicle of information and is a part or type of web site. It is a personal online diary that allows a person to add videos, pictures, music, share his ideas and thoughts and read the comments of the visitor on his blog.
