In 1930, the modern version of Whoopee Cushion, Poo-Poo cushion or Razzberry Cushion was invented by the employees of JEM Rubber Co. A Whoopee cushion creates a funny noise when anyone sits on it. It is made up of two rubber sheets glued together along the edges.
