The Yo-yo Manufacturing Company was started in 1928 by Filipino-American Pedro Flores in Sant Barbara, California in the United States and started producing yoyo toys in the United States. The Flores Yo-yo Corporation was purchased by a businessman Donald Duncan in 1932.
