The first single chip microprocessor- the Intel 4004 was introduced on November 1971 by Intel Company. It was invented by Intel engineers Federico Faggin, Ted Hoff, and Stan Mazor. The microprocessor is a tiny electronic device that can perform all functions as Central Processing Unit performs.
