When was the game of Pac-Man created?
In April 1979, a young Namco employee Toru Iwatani developed the game by employing a team of nine men and named Puck Man. In 1980, the game was first launched in Japan. The Bally division Midway manufactured the game in the United States in 1980 and changed the title from Puck Man to Pac-Man. It was the first game to feature cut scenes and power-ups.
