When was the first Candy invented?

Around 1500 B.C., the candy was invented by the Egyptians to worship their Gods and Goddesses. They used honey and by adding dates, figs, spices and nuts prepared candy. In the sixth century in Europe the modern candies were created by mixing boiled candies with nuts and fruits. In 1847 Joseph Fry and Candy Corn created the first candy bar for the mass market. In 1880 the famous Halloween candy was invented. The milk chocolates were invented at the beginning of the 20th century.
